Querido Padre Sean: Congratulation for your seven new priests in Boston! We followed the Holy Mass thanks to BCTV. We thank God for you, your newly ordained priests and all the priests around the world. As you said it in your homily, priests are Christ Presence in our world bringing reconciliation, unity and mercy in a much needed and broken world.
The Holy Spirit is truly in action when we live our Creed: He is the Lord the giver of Life. We received that Life from God from our Priests in Baptism, Confirmation, Reconciliation and the Holy Eucharist. It is because of the reception of these Sacraments that we want to do His will and love one another as He loved us.
Thank you also Padre Sean for your reflections on the Pope’s visit to Brazil and your insights about his book written as Joseph Ratzinger, Jesus of Nazareth. We are reading it! We continue to pray to God for you and for your people in Boston. May you always please Him and please His Mother in serving His Church!

The selling of the Lake Street property to BC is both good and sad. It is good because the ghosts that have lived in that place will be left behind. It also represents a Church of a by-gone era. On the other hand, the reason for selling also represents an another unfortunate time in the life of the Church - it must settle its debts from the abuse mess.

I hope that when the sale is done and the move to new offices is complete, the Church will be able 100% of its energies on re-building and growing.

Your Eminence: Don't sell yourself short. The Capuchins have more than a cup of coffee named after them. Don't forget the monkeys! :)

“We are still advocating for a comprehensive solution that will put immigrants on a path towards citizenship and full participation in the life of the community.”

I could only wish that you and other bishops had the same passion when it comes to protecting the unborn …rather than for people who are breaking the law to get into the country.

In light of the Pope’s recent statement about Pro-abortion Catholic politicians receiving communion and promoting a culture of death, what is your stand? Will you make a statement to the many catholic pro-abortion politicians here in Massachusetts that being Catholic and “pro-choice” is not an option?

Also, Catholic colleges have become an absolute joke, here below are 2 radical Pro-Abortion politicians who gave commencement at massachusetts Catholic colleges:

Marian Court College (Massachusetts): U.S. Rep. John Tierney (commencement speaker), May 12
Tierney has received a 100 percent rating from NARAL, indicating a consistent pro-abortion voting record. He opposed a ban on homosexual “marriages.”

Regis College (Massachusetts): Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley (commencement speaker & honorary degree), May 20
Coakley publicly supports homosexual “marriage” and abortion rights. An advocate of embryonic stem cell research, she has opposed a state regulation barring the creation of embryos solely for research.

I had the immense pleasure of meeting Cardinal Sean once again in Lourdes and learned of his blogsite. I wait for Friday evening to read it. Our first meeting was in Palm Beach. Having been in campus ministry for 12 yrs. and involved in the Catholic Campus Ministry Assoc for 25 yrs. I was delighted to read of the magnificent ministry at BU but I might add throughout the Archdiocese and commend the CARDINAL FOR HIS MAGNIFIECENT SUPPORT OF CAMPUS MINISTRY. IF WE LOSE THIS GENERATION OF YOUNG ADULTS, WE ARE REALLY IN TROUBLE. Thank you cardinal for being who you truly are!!
