Dear Cardinal Sean

It is nice that you are doing this. It is a breath of fresh air. I live in the Philadelphia area, and I wish that Cardinal Rigali would do something similar. I dont think they are as computer literate down south.

Your Eminence! You did a brave step - personally went out in the Internet which does not know borders and ranks. We support you from Russia. It is also interesting to see so many pictures and your attention to all the people. As blog is a not official site, then, allow to speak to you also more personally. Forgive, young people are always curious.

Please, say, Eminence, is it special meaning for you - to be a cardinal? Do you feel a difference between meantime, when were only a bishop and now? What changed?
We saw all ceremony consistory on TV last year (24 marth). Great impression.

I am very sad that Cardinal Sean did not take the opportunity this weekend to celebrate the Extraordinary form of the Mass in support of the Holy Father's recent Summorum Pontificum, which took effect Sep. 14, and which allows any parish to celebrate the Traditional Mass. Many other dioceses have made commitments to train priests and to assist those parishes willing to broaden their Liturgical offerings to include the Traditional Mass. I hope the Cardinal will correct this omission in the future, and will also add mandatory training in the Extraordinary form of the Mass to the seminary curriculum. Without this training, priests will be deficient in what they can offer to the parishes of the diocese. Thanks to Pope Benedict, the Extraordinary form of the Mass is here to stay, and will no doubt expand in use as people experience its beauty and reverence.

Are we truly one with the Pope in his efforts to renew the Liturgy?

Querido Padre Sean, thank you for all you do to share the life and love of Christ with us. We are very happy to know that you and Metropolitan Methodois are leading many in a pilgrimage to strength the bonds between Catholics and Orthodox. We are going to accompany you with our prayers and enjoy your pilgrimage through your Blog. Today, being the feast our Lady of Sorrows, we commend our lives to Her care and protection and beg Her to teaches us how to live in love, faith and hope with our crosses like She did faithfully even in Her silent with joy in the midst of suffering saying Her words: My soul rejoices in God, my Savior. She is the Advocata Nostra, and with Her and with all the Martyrs and Saints we all share in the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Christ our Lord. Congratulations to the new Deacons and the new Catholic Priests. Thank you for answering God's love to serve God's people.

Thank you for your work for Life. Everyday I ride the T and see the ads for Planned Parenthood. They claim to be pro-choice but many women, especially the young, are coerced into abortion by their parents, boyfriends or husbands.

I think the Office for Life should put posters in the T, saying: "You have the choice to carry your baby to birth."
