Dear Cardinal Sean,
Your blessing and giving of the rosaries reminded me of the day of your installation as Bishop of Fall River diocese. At the conclusion of the Mass, several hundred of us waited in line to greet you. I placed myself at the end of the line so that I could ask you to bless my Irish rosary. You must have been exhausted by the time I got to you, but you took the rosary into the palm of your hand and touched it as if you were touching something beyond price and value. Your loving gesture occured as if this was the sole reason you were there. This was a very special moment as I wished you "Welcome aboard."

Hello Cardinal Seán,
Through your blogs, I come to know that you are holding a important position in your church. The activities which you all do at the grassroot level gradually help many people along the way. Things like learning to respect life. Pro-abortion issues are related to unhealthy relationships. Therefore the people must know how to have a good relationship, a good family and not having to resort to abortions.
Warm regards as always.

Dear Cardinal Sean,
What an extraordinary talk you gave to the young people in Quincy at Theology on Tap! I continue to be amazed at the energy you have. Each week is full of events many of which take you to other states or countries. You do not appear to suffer from jet lag. We are fortunate to have you as our Archbishop in Boston.

God bless,
Rosemary

P.S. I think you would enjoy listening to some of Gloria Estafan's music!

Dear Cardinal O'Malley,

Thank you so much for accepting our invitation to speak at Quincy Theology on Tap, and for taking the time to prepare a talk that was so well received. All were impressed by your willingness to dedicate time to the Young Adults of the Archdiocese, and because of your appearance, Theology on Tap is now the talk of town. This has truly raised the profile of the event, and highlighted a wonderful ministry of the Church. Your appearance in Quincy makes a great conversation-starter on topics of the faith.

I also wish to thank you for adding the video of your talk to the blog. Those of us helping to organize the event were not able to hear the entire talk while welcoming and accomodating late-arriving guests--so it is a great blessing to be able to listen to it in its complete form in the comfort of the home.

Thank you and may God bless you and your ministry,

Tom Lyman

Looks like it was an incredible week. I am glad you go to the Theo on Tap in Quincy. I know Fr. Drea has been working really hard on that program and was so appreciative that you could be there. Keep up the good work. Belated Feast Day greetings as well!
