This week will get busier for Cardinal Sean...

From Life Site News:

http://www.lifesite.net/ldn/2007/nov/07112107.html

Boston Cardinal Accused of Partisan Politics for Blasting Democrats over Abortion

This is also being discussed at:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1929156/posts

(which has the same title).

By the way, I am 'topher' on that website...

There those of us (Knights of Columbus, prolifers, ardent Catholics) who will defend our Church leaders such Cardinal Sean, Archbishop Chaput, Archbishop Emeritus John Francis Donoghue.

Also, the Catholic Church is known for its great leaders -- such as Cardinal Francis Xavier Nguyen van Thuan, who was treated for cancer in Boston. This great Church leader was tortured by the Communists in Vietnam, but came out of that as the "Apostle of Hope". There are several books with the name "Hope" in the title that is either by him or about him.

These attacks by THOSE WHO WOULD BETRAY THE CATHOLIC CHURCH AND THE UNITED STATES will be opposed...

I have just read the article about the Democratic Party attacking Cardinal Sean because of his "Faith Based" stand on abortion being wrong.

I strongly support Cardinal O'Malley and hi stance.

Here in Louisiana a few years ago, Archbishop Alfred Hughes shunned the Landrieu family being given an award at a Catholic University.

He did this because they were a family of politicians that supported STRONGLY abortion.

The Cardinal's good friend, Archbishop Charles Chaput of Denver was attacked for this in 2004.

The media tried to show that Archbishop Chaput was wrong, and biased.

This resulted in quite a bit of coverage of Archbishop Chaput, and that he had done nothing wrong except promote the views of the Roman Catholic Church.

I imagine these Democratic Officials should ask Cardinal O'Malley about the Republican front-runner -- Rudolf Guiliani.

Clearly, if Cardinal Sean is biased, then he would support Rudolf Guiliani and oppose the Democrats.

But Rudolf Guiliani is in even worse shape than Hillary Clinton. Rudolf Guiliani claims to be a Catholic (which I don't doubt, but the fact his church clearly states it is wrong to be for abortion -- Hillary's does not...
