Your Eminence,

That is certainly a beautiful chapel that the Chancery now has. Unfortunately, hanging pyxes are not possible for most parish churches, given the immense sizes they would need to be in most instances.

May God bless you in all that you do. Asking Your Eminence's blessing, I am,

Very truly yours in Christ,

Your Emminence,
Thank you for this website and all you do to revitalize the Church here in the United States. I am a student (and former seminarian) at the University of Notre Dame, a school run by the Congregation of Holy Cross. As such I was excited to see mention of Stonehill College (another HC school) and the religious symposium held there. Why is there no mention though of the Congregation of Holy Cross, your hosts for the day? They are a wonderful group of men and women serving the Church as educators in the faith throughout the world. One of their main charisms is hospitality and I trust you received that Holy Cross hospitality while you were at Stonehill. Thank you again for this great site!

Cardinal O'Malley,
Thank you for the mention of the Religious Life Symposium at Stonehill College, I was one of the student volunteers (and a Capuchin candidate) and there was truly a great deal of work put into the event and your presence was much appreciated. I do believe there are great signs of hope for religious life, as I just came back from New York City where I attended the first Candidate Weekend for the new academic year hosted by vocation director Brother Tim Jones and attended by 12 candidates, including myself, which is great sign of hope. The postulants and professed friars were all inspired by the sheer number of us...
Thanks again! Maybe I'll see you at San Lorenzo Friary or perhaps St. Francis of Assisi Friary sometime soon, I plan to make a trip up there again to spend more time with those wonderful men.

God bless!

Your eminence,

First, I want to say how thankful I am for this wonderful site. Though from the far away Diocese of Lafayette, in Louisiana, I always look forward to hearing about the goings on around your archdiocese. Boston is one of my favorite cities and it is nice to have some since of the work of the master in New England. I am fascinated by the tabernacle/pyx in the new Bethany Chapel and would love some more details about it. As many churches as I have visited, the use of that sort of tabernacle truly is new to me! Thank you to you and your staff in advance and may God continue to prosper the work of your hands.
