Dear Cardinal Sean,
I enjoyed this blog very much. It's nice to see so many different communities all coming together for God. I hope that everyone will see that we are all children of God and we should all be one person in God. I hope you can visit St. Paul's sometime, it would be great to talk you you in person.

Dear Cardinal Sean,

I am a seventh grade student from St. Paul's school in Hingham. It is great that so many different ethnic communities were at the mass. I really like Bishop Cheverus's motto: "Diligamus nos inuicem." I think that the Catholic community has made many contributions to our local community, and I know that we will continue to help others. Please come and visit St. Paul's school in Hingham!

Thank you!

Dear Cardinal Sean,

I agree with you about how we should be thankful for all the things we have during Thanksgiving. With more people becoming homeless and jobless and wars and uprisings such as the attack in Mumbai, we should be thankful for the things we have, such as the computer I have to be typing this comment.

About the closing of or bicentennial year, I think that it is important that people know that Christians are of many races and ages and that all you need to be a Christian is to have faith.

Also, I was wondering if it would be convenient for you to visit St. Paul School in Hingham sometime you were not busy. It would give us an event to look forward to.

Dear Cardinal Sean,
In this week's blog I liked reading about the celebration of the Mass closing the Bicentennial Year. I was able to relate to the gospel from Matthew 25 that described the time Jesus told the Apostles: “What you did not do for the least ones, you did not do for me.” I myself try to live by this message by treating everyone with respect and care as if I was in front of Christ. This was a great blog and I can't wait for the next one!
God Bless.

Dear Cardinal Sean,

I think it is great how you celebrated the Bicentennial Year. I also think that it is good how the Catholic Church welcomes people of all different backgrounds and cultures. The Catholic Church is a terrific example of how you should treat others with respect and it should not matter where they come from or what color skin they have.

Sincerely,
Jenna

Dear Cardinal Sean-

I think that the Mass for the end of the Bicentennial Year looks incredible! The church seems beautiful also! The Cheverus Medal appears to be a great honor. Congratulations to the 68 member who have done outstanding work for the Church! I hope that you will consider stoping by St. Paul when it's convenient for you!

Cardinal,

Once again, I am very intersted in your latest blog! You seem to travel to different places all the time. My favorite part of this blog is the speech about God's love. How He loves us and how He loved us first. I find that speech very interesting and touching. It was very beautiful. Thank you, Cardinal, for all of the wonderful blogs you post!

Cardinal Sean-
This weeks blog is very interesting. I really liked the pictures of the church in Rome.It looked alot like our church in Hingham. You should come and visit. You are always welcome at St. Paul School. I agree with the idea that Thanksgiving should be a time were we are mindful of our obligation.

When I was looking at all of the beautiful pictures you have posted, I was amazed to see all the different cultures that were gathered together.

I liked your homily, too. You are right in saying that Christ is in every person, including the poor and sick. We must be prepared for the coming of the kingdom of God and always be kind and loving to everyone. We must be respectful and repent our sins so that we are ready.

I hope you and your family had a blessed Thanksgiving!

Dear Cardinal Sean,

I am a seventh grade student at St. Paul School. In religion class we learn about being king and caring to others. Jesus is in every one of us. If we are mean to someone we are mean to Jesus. We need to perform acts of kindness to everyone we meet. If everyone did one kind thing for someone else, the world would be a better place.

Sinceraly,

It must have been great to go to Rome and go to that beautiful church. The pictures you took were beautiful and someday soon I hope to go to Rome. Thanksgiving this year was a hard time because of the crisis in our nation. I found myself donating food to my church to go to poor people everywhere. I go to St. Paul's school in Hingham MA. I hope you come visit us this year. I hope you stop by soon when it is convenient.

It must have been great to go to Rome and go to that beautiful church. The pictures you took were beautiful and someday soon I hope to go to Rome. Thanksgiving this year was a hard time because of the crisis in our nation. I found myself donating food to my church to go to poor people everywhere. I go to St. Paul’s school in Hingham MA. I hope you come visit us this year. I hope you stop by soon when it is convenient.

Dear Cardinal Sean,

It was very nice to see that there was a big crowd for your closing Mass of the Bicentennial Year. The thing that I liked the most about that Mass was that there were not only a lot of people, but people of many different ethnic communities, parishes and youth groups. Thank you.

We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving day with your family. You certainly deserve a "time out" from your duties as Cardinal.

I was honored to have been able to attend the Mass ending the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the archdiocese. Thanks so much for placing the text of the sermon here. We need to hear more sermons like these and to hear the words of Father Pro, "Viva Christo Rey" was inspiring in itself.

The reception across the street added a nice touch to the afternoon and actually gave us a chance to meet socially with those from different areas.

Thank you Cardinal Sean!
