I am writing today to urge his Eminence to read the current editorial in the America magazine, entitled:
A Modest Proposal

"Silence and fervent prayer are no longer adequate responses to the priest shortage in the United States."
As a middle-aged mother, I am very concerned about the demographic problem facing the Church, and its effect on our parish communities in the near future. We must face this issue today; it will be a reality very soon.
Thank you for your attention to this,

Dear Cardinal Sean,

I think it is great how you celebrated the sacrament of Confirmation with 60 men and women from Holy Name in West Roxbury. From what I have learned from religion class, I know that it is a very important sacrament. It strengthens our relationship with God and helps us become closer to Him. I have learned that it also helps us become closer with ourselves and realize the path that God wants us to take in our lives.

Sincerely,
Jenna
St. Paul School, Hingham
Please come and visit our school soon!

Dear Cardinal Sean,

Another wonderful blog this week. I think that the men's and women's conferences is a very good idea, especially if you want to become even closer to God. And seeing the pictures of the dancers was another part of this blog that I really enjoyed. I thought that the dresses they were wearing were very beautiful! And congratulations on your award! Thank you again, Cardinal.

Dear Cardinal Sean,
What a wonderful blog this week's was! I really enjoyed reading about the Church related to Angels and Demons. I found it humorous that all the tourists were let in but not the director of the film!!!! I can't wait until next week's blog.

Dear Cardinal Sean,

Hello! I am an eighth grade student at Saint Paul School in Hingham, Massachusetts.I think it is wonderful that as an American, you were recognized for your dedication on behalf of the Portuguese immigrants in Boston. I think it is fantastic that at the Portuguese Consulate in Boston you were awarded a beautiful crystal statue of St. Antonio de Lisboa. I myself am Portuguese and I love to dance that traditional dance of Portugal!

Thank you,

Dear Cardinal Sean,
Hello! Your blog was very interesting this week! It's nice how Martin Damon is able to use his musical gifts as a good asset to the Church's ministry. Congratulations on recieving your reward from the Portugese Consulate in Boston! The statue of St. Anthony de Lisboa must be beautiful! Watching the Rancho Folclario from maderrenses must have been really fun! The Culture Life Award sounds very interesting as does the March for Life. The Easter Celebration that you were talking about sounds really fasinating. I didn't know that two baskets with red eggs is a Greek cuctom. The book "Two Centuries of Faith" sounds interesting also.
God Bless,
Lindsey
