Cardinal, I felt you should not have gone to Ted Kennedy's funeral but should have rather gone to the funeral of a priest of 60 years of the Archidiocese of Boston who was buried the same day. I think you truly made the wrong decision. You could have sent an Auxiliary to that funeral but instead you chose to celebrate the life of someone who spent his years defending abortion instead of celebrating the life of a priest who gave his all.

How nice to see a picture of Fr. Dan Barron, OMV at this mass. We miss him in Denver, where he was assigned to Holy Ghost for several years.

It is so wonderful to read about the great things happening where the Oblates serve Boston.

Dear Cardinal Sean, Our faith is so strained these days, that the return of perpetual adoration to the city and individual suburban parishes is a major step forward. It is my prayer and hope that tomorrow at the Mission Church our faith will not be again "used" for the benefit of those who support abortion. When are the bishops especially and the clergy of the Catholic faith going to take a stand and address the receiving of the Holy Eucharist by these individuals. If our faith is to be strengthened and renewed back to where it used to be, then our bishops and clergy must be strong and honest and not be afraid of addressing these violators of the God's law. What is the purpose of our dogma, if these individuals can violate it at will and never be called on it directly?
It is my prayer and hope you will not participate at Sen. Kennedy's funeral .

Dear Cardinal Sean, I always enjoy your site ~ I hope you will make a statement concerning the late Sen. Ted Kennedy's record on Pro-life issues as there are many activists who may be confused around the obligations of Catholic politicians to defend the dignity and rights of the unborn. Thank You, Respectfully,
John Leogue (Catholic Pastor)

Dear Cardinal Sean

thank you for that brief reflection on adoration. It is a real spur to go and participate today with the Sisters of Mother Theresa here in Jerusalem.

Praise God! We have a number of sites in the Diocese of Marquette where there is Perpetual Adoration, it has been a HUGE blessing to the diocese, and a big part of my vocation to the priesthood. God is with us!

Dear Cardinal Sean,
Congratulations on reviving Eucharistic Adoration at St. Clement's Shrine. I remember when the seminarians used to visit the Shrine when I was in the seminary from 1950 to 1956. This will add to the many blessings of the Archdiocese and of the surrounding dioceses.
