Nice to see the pictures of the 50 and 25 years couples that are married. We need more of that.

Also a request, I beg you not to close St. Jerome chuch. It is my parish and I need it to be there for me the people, the pastor, Fr. Robert Blaney for support and encouragement. I have lost most of my immediate family members and the one immediate family member I have left doesn't spend much time in my life, so all I have is this parish. I love them. Please do what you can.

God Bless

Dear Cardinal Sean,

Thank you for your reflections. I always enjoy reading them.

As you noted, the Year for Priests was a welcome opportunity to reflect on the gift of our priesthood. I thank the Lord for the ability to serve him as a priest, and I ask for His grace and strength in those challenging moments in my vocation. In doing so, I can not help but to think of you who ordained me and four other Capuchin friars in June of 2008, three of us as priests and two as transitional deacons.

May the good Lord continue to give you the strength and grace that you need as you serve him as the Archbishop of Boston.
