This all looks like a wonderful celebration for Uganda Martyrs day June 3!!! and other things,
BUT WHERE ARE THE WOMEN!!!!
The church is made up of at least 50% of women, so why are they so noticeably absent ...- whops sorry black african? women as the choir....-
Even christ had many notable women around him all the time and that was in a society that was very male dominated and let me just add 2000 years ago.
You don't seemed to have moved on much in the church, but we have everywhere else. Maybe that is part of the problem.
Suffice it to say that women are not only an integral part of society but a very vital one as they are, at very least, are the fist educators of the next generation.
The church needs to seriously re-think itself. Are you men so scared of what might happen? Perhaps yes, as some order and humanity might enter and then where would you be.....
but the church might become alive again instead of being dead and not encouraging the vital and dynamic young people to join or stay....

Cardinal Sean, I enjoy reading your weekly posts about your episcopal ministry in Boston and the many places it takes you. Thank you for all you do for the Church. And God bless you.
