Cardinal Sean--Thank you for the highlight about the Feast of Portiuncula.

It had a special meaning for me since my brother, John David, was a resident at St. Coletta's School when the Chapel was built and dedicated by Cardinal Cushing in the 1950s.

I recall that the Sisters were so pleased that the replica was built there, and that almost all the materials were imported from Italy.

John David cherised the opportunity to serve Mass for the Cardinal--he was a good tipper!

Your blog is indeed a positive influence on everyone whoever reads it.

Yours in Xt--Joe
